**Obituary for Thomas McGee**
Thomas McGee, 82, passed peacefully on March 19, 2025, at Deaconess Hospital in Marion. He was born on January 1, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Evin and Wilda (Haney) McGee.
A dedicated truck driver by profession, Thomas enjoyed a fulfilling career before his retirement. He is survived by his ex-wife, Karen McGee, of Herrin. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and one son, David.
In accordance with his wishes, Thomas will be cremated, and there will be no services held. The family has entrusted Van Natta Funeral Home with the arrangements.
His life will be remembered with affection by those who knew him.
