Mrs. Sara Vega Hernandez, 29 of Port Hueneme, California died on Sunday, March 3, 2019 in her sleep unexpectedly at her home. She was married to Anthony Hernandez of Port Hueneme Ca. he survives. She was born in Marion Thursday, May 11, 1989 to Alejandro Vega and Roseanne Camarato they survive.She has 2 sisters Rebecca Vega and Christiana Dunning both of Herrin. she is also survived by 1 niece, Alexa Ratchford and 2 nephews Darian Anthony and McClinton "Little Mac" Thorton both of Herrin. She served in the Navy for 11 years as a Navy Career Counselor and aviation technician, holding the rank of Petty Officer First Class A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948. Interment will be in San Carlo Cemetery, Herrin, IL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois.
