Maureen E. Taitt

Maureen married Lindell Taitt on July 2, 1966.  They shared 20 years of marriage together.  He survives in Royalton.

Maureen is survived by one son of Herrin, Ronnie Taitt (Madeline);  two daughters both of Herrin, Tammy Helfrich (Scott Ragusa) and Kathy Howerton (John); and four grandsons all of Herrin, AJ Taitt, Colten Taitt, JP Howerton and Jaxon Howerton; and one grand daughter of Oregon, Morgan Helfrich; Two great grand daughters of Herrin, Shiloe and Leighla Taitt. 

 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, a sister, Karren McFarland and a brother, Kenny Ray Elders. 

Maureen enjoyed camping and tending to her flower gardens, plus she really enjoyed cooking and baking; and most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids.

 

Maureen's wishes were to be cremated with no services. Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin will be in charge of arrangements.
