Margie Hutchcraft

Margie Hutchcraft, 79, of Herrin, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Carlyle, Illinois.   Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 9 at the funeral home.   Funeral services will be held at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin on September 10. Services will be at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser, IL.   Margie was born in West Frankfort, Illinois to Burl and Lucille (Profitt) Shepard on October 18, 1938. She retired from Maytag. Margie lead many home bible studies and was always an active member of her church. She was a devoted christian who lived her life for the lord.   Margie was preceded in death by her parents.   Margie is survived by her daughter Terri and husband Terry Crompton of  Salem, grandchildren Brian and wife Elisabeth Crompton of Salem, Ashley Crompton of Mascoutah, and Kyle and wife Jobeth Crompton of Salem, five great grandchildren Emily, Jacob, Leah, Jared, and Clara Crompton all of Salem, sister Sharon Saegesser of Muncie and brother Lindell and wife Marilyn Shepard of Cambria.    Memorials can be made to Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
