It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joan C. Kleysteuber, who peacefully departed on August 4, 2024, at Shawnee Senior Living in Herrin. Joan was born on March 4, 1937, in Owensboro, Kentucky to George and Thelma (Massie) Crump.
Joan is fondly remembered by her son, William "Bill" Mauzy of Tuscola, Illinois. Her dedication to caring for others shone through her work as a nurse for several years. As per her wishes, Joan will be cremated, and at this time no services will be held.
The arrangements are entrusted to Van Natta Funeral Home. Joan's legacy of compassion and service will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
