Jeanette Kay Bloodworth, 71, passed away on August 30, 2026. She was born in Herrin June 29,1955 to Archie and Dorothy (Miller) Cain, they preceded her in death.
Jeanette will be remembered with deep love by those who knew her best. At the center of her life was her husband, David Bloodworth, with whom she shared the enduring bond of marriage and family. She also leaves behind her daughters, Dana Motsinger and her husband Josh, and Tonya Woodsum, who carry forward her love and memory.
Her legacy continues in the generations of her family who brought her so much joy. She is survived by her grandchildren, Madison Motsinger, Haleigh Motsinger, Christopher Woodsum, Charley Woodsum, and Parker Woodsum, as well as her great-grandson, Hudson Tippy. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Calvin Cain; her sister, Diane Robinson; and her sister, Becky Sue Cain. She worked at the Friendship care Nursing home in Herrin for several years
The love Jeanette gave to her family will remain a lasting gift in their lives. Her memory will live on in shared stories, in quiet moments of remembrance, and in the strong family ties she helped nurture through the years.
A funeral service will be held on September 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 S Park Ave, Herrin, Illinois 62948 with Rev Darrin Clark and Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service and burial will be in the Gentry Cemetery in Williamson county.
Jeanette Kay Bloodworth will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always.
