Doris Brandon

HERRIN - Doris Brandon, 85 of Herrin, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Born Friday, March 2, 1934, in Cambria, she was the daughter of the late George Jones and the late Ada Robinson. Surviving are brother, George D. and Debbie Jones of Herrin; special friend Red Wooldridge; son, Greg Brandon; two grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Jason Hessell and Nick all of St Louis; niece Ashley; and nephew Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Stephen . A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 S. Park Ave., Herrin, IL 62948. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Carterville. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2019, at Van Natta Funeral Home.
