Clyde E. Dillman

Clyde Earl Dillman 85, passed away on September 26, 2021 in the Carbondale Memorial Hospital. Mr. Dillman was born in Herrin on June 6, 1936 to John and Marie (McEntire) Dillman. Clyde was a coal miner, and in his early years he owned and operated a gas station in Herrin,he also was owner of D & B Pest Control and was a pastor at Christopher Baptist Church and the Freeman United Church in the 90's. He was a member of Abundant Life in Marion. Mr. Dillman was married to Dorothy (Elliott) Dillman she survives. Mr. Dillman 3 daughters, Marsha and husband Mark Billingsley, Debbie Packard and Tammy and husband John Hutchison. Clyde also has 8 grandchildren, Jason , Jacque , Jeffery and Crystal Billingsley, David , Nicole, Ross and Tara Packard, John, Ryan and Kevin Hutchison, 12 great grand children and 4 Great Great Grand children. he is survived by his brother James and sister Helen Gibbons and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dillman was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Irene Carter and Nina Oglesby and 1 brother Edward. There will a memorial service will be at 11:00 am at the Abundant Life, 1409 East DeYoung Street in Marion Illinois.
