Keith Blaylock

Mr. Keith Blaylock, age 51, of Herrin, IL, died Monday, November 29, 2010, at Memorial Hospital of Belleville in Belleville, IL. Mr. Blaylock had worked at Maytag Maytag for 28 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He graduated from Herrin School class of 1977. He played football as quarterback and played baseball. Keith was born in Herrin November 8, 1959 to Roger and Jane (Chambers) Blaylock. His father preceded him in death in 1992. Survivors include his mother, 1sister Kerri Blaylock of Murphysboro Ill. Also survivors include cousins, Sherry Rednour and family of Percy Ill., Karen Parrish and Elsie Parrish of Carterville Ill. and his faithful companion Sampson. Special thank you to special friends Gary and Diane Wade of Herrin, Harry and Ann Wade of Energy, Don and Bonnie Vaughn of Energy and Ron and Mary Ann Hudson of Energy. Memorial donations can be made to Coach Kill Cancer Fund, envelopes will be provided by the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Funeral service will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2010, Rev. Mark Hutson and Mike Glasco officiating. Interment will be at Little Flock Cemetery, Carterville, IL
