Mr. Jerry Cox, 65 of Herrin, Illinois died on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home in Herrin Ill. Mr. Cox was born Saturday, July 14, 1945 in Makanda, Illinois to Edwin and Mae(Schack) Cox they survive. He was survived by 1 brother Larry and wife Judie Cox of Arlington TX, 1 sister Barbara Gentry of Farmersville Ill., 1 son Ricky Cox and 1 daughter Kelly Cox both of St Louis MO., also 1 grandson,1 aunt Juanita Harris of Herrin Ill., 2 nephews, 1 niece and 4 great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be on Thursday at 11:00am at the cemetery with Rev. Jerry Ford officiating. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois Inc. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Carterville, IL. Van Natta Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
