Marjorie Imogene Dixon 84 of Herrin, Illinois died on Friday, October 22, 2010, at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, Illinois. Born Tuesday, August 17, 1926 in Malden MO. to William and Cora Floyd. She was married to George Dixon, he died in 1988. Surviving is 2 sons Gary Dixon of House Springs MO. and Mark and wife Connie Dixon of Herrin and 1 brother Donald Floyd of Crete Illinois. Also she has 3 grandchildren Kevin Dixon, Eric and wife Christy Dixon of Evansville In. and Scott Dixon of Marion Il. , 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter Deborah Dixon, 1 son Kevin Dixon, 1 sister Ester Becker. She was a member of 2and Baptist Church, Eastern Star and White Shrine. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with the Rev. Brad Harlow officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg Ill. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois.
