Helen Mrla

Mrs. Helen Mrla, age 91, of Kenosha, WI, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in Kenosha, WI and was formerly of Herrin. She was born in Zeigler April 27, 1919 to Edward and Anna Raczyinski. She was married to Nick Mrla he preceded her in death. Mrs. Mrla is survived by 1 son and 1 daughter-in-law George and Pat Mrla of Trenton MI. Mrs. Mrla is also survived by one sister Albina Rice of Zeigler and one brother Gene Raczyinski of Brighton MI. 5 grand children Kathy Halaberda of Kenosha WI., Nancy Halaberda of Atlanta GA., George Mrla of Trenton MI., Robert Mrla of Trenton MI. and Walter Halaberda of Flag Staff AZ., and there are 10 great grand children and 1 great great grand child. Helen was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Herrin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,one daughter Roma Halaberda, two sisters Martha Mrla and Charlene Savant and one brother Joseph Raczinski. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 17, 2010 Prayer service will be at 6:00 pm Sunday at the Funeral Home. Funeral mass will at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church Monday October 18, 2010 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery in West Frankfort Ill.
