Donna Colombo

Mr. Donna Colombo, age 89, of Herrin, IL, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at her home. She was born in Herrin to Melville and Lillian (McDonald) Williams October 5, 1920. She was married to Ambrose Colombo in 1948 he preceded her in death. Surviving is 1 sister-in-law Sandra Colombo of Herrin and niece Stephanie and Tim Deterding of Herrin, nephews Ray Colombo of Herrin and David Colombo of Carbondale. Other survivors include cousins Deloris Fulgham of Herrin, Jack DeWare and wife Tessie of California, Karen Rosner and Ariel Rosner of New Mexico. She was retired from the Forest Service in Carbondale and she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Herrin, August 3, 2010. Funeral service will be at First Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 3, 2010, Rev. Michael Neubert officiating. Interment will be at Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin, IL.
