Mr. Michael P. Fiorina, 43 of Herrin, Illinois died on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at his home in Herrin, Illinois. Mr. Fiorina was born in Herrin Oct 17, 1965 to Jerry and Tannie (Jones) Fiorina of Herrin. He was the husband of Leah (Ogden) Fiorina she survives. Also surviving is 2 children Zeke and Faith Fiorina, 1 brother John and wife Carrie Fiorina of Woodstock Ill, 2 sisters Mary Barrientos and Mindy Davis both of San Antonio Texas, Mother and Father in Law Gary and Deloris Ogden of Herrin. 8 nieces and nephews Candace and husband Paul Beachum of Duluth Georgia, Stephanie and husband Rick Griffith of Duluth Georgia, Cassie Cullum San Antonio Texas, Alyssa Cullum of Marion Ill., Rebekah Davis of SanAntonioTexas,Evan Fiorina, Owen Fiorina, and Sean Fiorina all of Woodstock Ill. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Mr. Fiorina and his wife were owners of Xrossroads Pub in Herrin where he made many friends. He was a Graduate from SIU with a degree in Industrial Engineering, graduated from Herrin High School in 1983. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the Herrin Elk's. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with the Rev. Kenneth Schaefer officiating. Herin Elk's ritual will be at 7:00pm Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2009, at Van Natta Funeral Home Herrin, Illinois.
