Coach Emile Wright, 75 of Herrin, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2017 surrounded by his loving wife and Karate family. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with pastor Roger Potocki officiating. Burial will follow after services with full military rites at St. Aloysius Cemetery Royalton Ill. Emile was retired form the Navy and owner of Master Emile Wright's Martial Arts Academy in Herrin. He is survived by the love of his life Mary Marcus and family.Other survivors include countless friends and students. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois. Memorial donations can be made to martial arts academy envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
