William Carl Bollinger

William Carl Bollinger, Jr., 75 of Carterville, Illinois died on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at his home in Carterville, Illinois. He was born Tuesday, September 2, 1941 in Carterville, Illinois to William and Lillian (Chew) Bollinger. Bill was retired form the City of Herrin and was in the Army. Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Kristin Wakey of Carterville, IL. and two sons Nathan of Herrin and William III of Carbondale, 3 sisters, Jo Ann Whitehead of Herrin, Mary McNeil of Carterville and Jenny McCluckie of Energy. He is also survived by 1 grandson Braden Wakey and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois envelops will be available at the funeral home. A Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM on Friday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with the Rev. Brent Fitzgerald officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois.
