Sandra Bowlin

Mrs. Sandra Bowlin, 77 of Benton, Illinois died on Friday, December 16, 2016, at West Side Care Center in West Frankfort, Illinois. She was born Friday, September 22, 1939 in Sesser, Illinois to Henry and Ethel (Fisher) Black. She was a member of West City Church of God. Surviving are Children, Mrs. Sharon and Duane Sims of Pittsburg, IL. , Sue Darnell of Metropolis, Rhonda and Clyde Childers of Valier, Ronald Pierce Jr.and Brandy Austin of Benton, Tammy Hungate of Sesser. She is also survived by 17 grand children, 45 great grand children and 1 great great grand child. She was Married to Delbert Bowlin May 30, 1982 he preceded her in death. Also preceding in death are parents, 2 children, Anthony Pierce and Lisa Bowlin, 2 grand children Shelly Headrick and John Darnell and 1 great great grand child Trinity Jewell. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with the Rev. Harold Whitlock officiating. Interment will be in Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Valier, IL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois.
