John Tolbert

Mr. John Tolbert, 71 of Salem, Illinois died on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Doctors Care and Rehab Center in Salem, Illinois. He was born Wednesday, August 16, 1944 in Herrin, Illinois to John and Hattie (Helms) Tolbert. Mr. Tolbert is survived by 6 children, Michael and wife Traci Tolbert of Harvard Ill, Chester of Wisconsin, Hattie of Herrin , Shawn of Tenn.., Daniel of Arizona and Steven Ray of Florida. He also is survived by 1 sister Linda Lazorchak of Johnston City, 1 brother R. J. of Eldorado and a sister-in-law Elaine Tolbert of Johnston City, and several grand children and great grand children. He was preceded in death by parents 4 brothers and brother-in-law John Lazorchak. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with the Rev. Don Colson officiating. Interment will be in Cundiff Cemetery, Colp, IL. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2016, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois.
