Alice Shelton

Mrs. Alice Shelton, 66 of Herrin, Illinois died on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at her home in Herrin, Illinois. She was born Saturday, June 18, 1949 in Du Quoin, Illinois to Clarence and Delores (Little) Gilliam. Surviving are 1 son, Eric and Jewel Shelton of Herrin, IL 3 daughters, Leann and Frank Bryant of Cardwell Montana, Patty Hampton and Becky Brooks both of Herrin, 2 stepsons Doug and Jeff Shelton of Hurst, 1 brother David and Debbie Gilliam of Marion and 1 half sister Ruth Meyers of Oklahoma . She also has 12 grand children, Dan and Ashley Zakopyko, Jorie Miller, Austin and Jesse Hampton, Daisey Frost, Alex, Lydia and Amelia Painter, Bella, Alex and Carly Bryant, 2 great grand children, Miles Masters and Braxton Hampton. Also, several beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. Mrs. Shelton worked at Karen Hart in Herrin with numerous close friends. She was preceded in her death by the love of her life Lloyd L Shelton and grandson Dillon Miller. A memorial service will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois.
