George Frank Hubbard

Mr. George Frank Hubbard, 79 of Herrin, Illinois died on Monday, May 25, 2009, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois.Born Thursday, November 7, 1929 in Royalton, Illinois, he was the son of the late George Hubbard and the late Hope Hewlett. He was the husband of Sue Hubbard she survives. His first wife was Delores Elaine Roland on June 14, 1952 she died February 17, 1997.Mr. Hubbard is suvived by 2 children, Dale and wife Susan Hubbard of West Frankfort IL. and Vicki Hubbard of West Frankfort IL.,4 step children, David, Bruce , Todd and his wife Carla , Pat Pitts and Dustin. Also suviving is 7 sisters and 1 brother, Betty and Sam Hudgens of Marion IL., Virginia and Willie Lenich of Mendota IL., Shelly Sanders of St. Charles MO., Melba and Bert Maddox of West Frankfort IL., Alice and Al Peters of West Frankfort IL., Falpha and Gene Wooters of Finley IL., Emma and John Beavers of Johnston City IL. and Bill and Barb Hubbard of Lake City FL. He is also survived by 3 grand children BrandyKahl of West Frankfort IL., Stephanie Cook of Pinckneyville IL., great grand chilren, Brandy, Joseph, Kailyn Kahl of West Frankfort Kailyn Kahl of West Frankfort and Kailee and Colin Cook of Pinckneyville. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife ,parents,1 son Steven , brother Ed and sister Deloris Mayer. Frank work at the Herrin Police Dept. for years and was owner of Hubbard used cars sales and was a member of the Harvest Time Church in Herrin.. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Southern IL. Inc. or to the Harvest Time Church in Herrin. Funeral service will be Thursday May 28, 2009 at 1:00pm with Rev Todd Hawk officiating and vistation will be from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin.Interment will be in Mulkeytown Cemetery, Mulkeytown, IL.
