Mr. Randy Abbott, 45 of Herrin, Illinois died on Sunday, March 8, 2009, at his home in Herrin, Illinois. He was born in Santa Monica Ca. Friday, March 15, 1963 to Bruce and Peggy (Croft) Abbott. Surviving are sisters and brother-in-laws, Mrs. Tammy and Rob Riley of Herrin, Lori and Tim Bishop of Culver City Ca. Father Bruce Abbott and Kathy Peters of Los Angeles Ca., niece Brooke Bishop of Culver City Ca., nephews Nicholas Pooleon of Culver City Ca., Blake and Brandon Riley of Herrin, Randy is also survived by his Nana, Opal (Riggs) Danielson of Los Angeles Ca., great aunt Donna Meier of Carterville, cousin Jim Riggs, uncle Lance Killman of Granada Hills Ca. , many other cousins and friends and his sidekick "Sampson". Randy was preceded in death by his mother Peggy October 20, 2008, 2 grandfathers Chuck Abbott and Clarence Danieson and grand mother Lillian Abbott, 2 aunts Charlotte Nedelcove, Joanie Killman and neice Cassandra Riley. Mr. Abbott had worked at the LosAngeles Times News Paper as a printer and also at Abbott Motor Clinic. We all loved your friendly personality, your wit, your sense of humor and your compassion for others. You will be missed. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00pm with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Van Natta Funeral Home. Burial will be in Herrin City Cemetery
