George (Greg) Newbold

George Newbold, age 84, of Carterville, IL, died Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion, IL. He served in the Navy during the World War II. He was the son of the late Guy Newbold and the late Myrtle Newbold. He is survied by sister-in-law Jane Newbold of Herrin, several cousins,neices and nehews , special friends Julie and Brad McCamish of Carterville, and his dog P.J.. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jack and Tom Newbold and sisters Lovell Baudino, Mickey Chicon and one infant sister. Private graveside service will be at a later date. Memorials can be made to donors choice. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Herrin, IL
