Delores Jones

Mrs. Delores Jones, age 69, of Herrin, IL, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL. Mrs.Jones was employed by Maytag for over 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Fisher and the late Nora Goley. She was married to Charles Junior Jones he preceded her in death. Surviviors include two Daughters Mrs. Melody and Ken Knusta, Herrin, IL, and Mendy and Damon Collins of Marion Ill. Sisters and brother in laws Dorothy and Orval Williams, Donna and Larry Hill, Kay Clark, Janice and John Fluck all of Marion Il., and Faye Cutrell of O'Fallon MO. Also brothers and sister in laws Art and Alma Fisher and Bernard and Donna Fisher of Marion Ill. Also suviving are grand children, Chase, Trent and Avery Knusta of Herrin, Dylan and Kelsey Collins of Marion Ill. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Laverne Ronald and Kenneth. Brother in law Bill Cutrell. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2008. Funeral service will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 22, 2008, Rev. Don Colson officiating. Interment will be at Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin, IL
