Mrs. Ethel Marie Jones, age 82, of Energy, IL, died Monday, December 8, 2008, at Whispering Oaks in Marion, IL. Mrs.Jones was a member of 2nd Baptist. She was born in Sturgis KY November 17, 1926 to John and Georgia (Aaron) Frazier . She was married to Mr. Cletis Jones he died in 1972. Survivors include one Daughter Mrs. Lisa Morgan, Herrin, IL, two sons Robert and Linda Ellery of Energy Ill., Michael and Leeann Jones of Herrin Ill., 4 grand children Vicki Miller of Herrin, Randy Ellery of Energy, Ashleigh Franks of Harrisburg, Mathew Jones of Energy. Also surviving is 4 great grand children, Malynn Miller, Noah Miller, Heidi Franks, Celia Franks and 1 brother James Lanham of Sturgis KY. Mrs Jones was preceded in death by her parents , husband, 1 daughter Elizabeth Jones, 1 brother Johnnie Lanham, son-in-law Glenn Hagler and 1 great grand daughter Corrine Miller. Make memorials to Hospice of Southern Ill. Inc. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Funeral service will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 11, 2008, Rev. Brad Harlow officiating. Interment will be at Rose Dale Cemetery , Dawson Springs, KY at 2:00 PM.
