Elizabeth Patyski

Mrs. Elizabeth J. Patyski, 92 of Valier, Illinois, died on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois. She was born Sunday, September 18, 1921, in Valier, Illinois, to Louis and Elizabeth (Vaszi) Chazar. She was married to Zigmund Patyski on March 8, 1941; he died July 13, 1984. Surviving are: 2 sons, Mr. Ron Patyski of Valier and Terry and wife Marcella Patyski of Mulkeytown; 3 grandchildren, Lt. C. Terri Lynn Patyski of Scott Air Force Base, Karen and husband Rodney Cabaness of West Frankfort, and Mark Patyski and fiancée Ginger Conner of Mulkeytown; 5 great grandchildren Bryce, Peyton, and Ty Cabaness of West Frankfort, Courtnie Patyski of Valier and Camree Patyski of Mulkeytown. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Van Natta Funeral Home located in Mulkeytown, Illinois, with the Rev. Dale Burzynski officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Van Natta Funeral Home, Rt. 148 Between Christopher and Sesser, Mulkeytown, Illinois.
