John Paul Hock

Mr. John P. Hock, age 45, of Herrin, IL, died Monday, August 25, 2008, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL. He was born in Carbondale Ill., to Donald and Sue Ellen(Yates) Hock September 10, 1962 . Mr. Hock was employed by Egypt Flowers. He also had been a School Teacher. Mr. Hock served in the Air Force for 8 years.He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelors degree. He was and avid golfer. He is survived by his Mother of Herrin . 1 sister and her husband Christy and Doug Gribble of Marion 2 nephews whom he dearly loved Jackson and Alex Gribble of Marion. Grandmother, Virginia Hock of Herrin. Aunts and Uncles; Ted and Ruby Holmes Evansville Ind., Tony and Jane Morgan of Colp Ill., Charlotte and Ronnie Aissie of Carterville. Also several Cousins survive and special friends Cheryl and Stevie Ruzich of Herrin Ill. . Mr. Hock was preceded in death by his Father, grandparents, Paul and Mary Yates, Grandfather Claude Hock, Aunt Mary Ann Yates and special angels Ashley and Jessica Ruzick. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin. . Visitation will be from 11:00 am Thursday until time of service. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
