Ruth Ann Brumitt

Mrs. Ruth Ann Brumitt, age 56, of Herrin, IL, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at her daughters home in Herrin, IL. Mrs.Brumitt was employed by Herrin Hospital and was a member of First Christian Church. She was born in Carbondale Feb. 2, 1952 to parents Harold Yates and Kathryn (Dean) Yates of Murphysboro. She is also survied by Childern: Mrs. Jennifer Sheehan and husband John, Herrin, IL, Rebecca Coons and husband Mark of Sterling Il., 1 son Stephen "Bo" Brumitt of Herrin. 5 gr. ch.;Nicholas Brumitt, Lauren Sheehan, Jessica Sheehan, Claire Coons, and Zachary Coons. brother and sister in law Richard and Connie Yates Boise ID, sister and brother in law Sharon and Kevin Griffith of Effingham, Il, sister Carolyn Tanner of Herrin, Former spouse Steve Brumitt of Desoto. Also special family members Doug and Debbie Tackett of Carterville and Cara and Brad Mausey of Carterville. Funeral will be Friday June 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm Rev. Ron Henwood will officiate.
