Mr. Robert Wade Jones, age 70, of Johnston City, IL, went to be with the lord Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at his home in Johnston City, IL. He was born in Herrin January 2, 1943 to Wade H. and Elsie Marie (Stover) Jones. He was employed at the Our Directions Center in Herrin. He is survived by 1 sister Mildred and husband Bill Cooke of St. Petersburg Fl., 2 nieces Sharon and husband Paul Roach of Johnston City, Myra and husband Marty Kubicki of St Charles Ill., 2 nephew Rick and wife Marsha Boren of Carterville and Jay and wife Marci Cooke of West Moreland NH, several great nieces and nephews and special family at Sunshine House. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joyce Boren and brother-in-law Barney Boren and nephew Greg Boren. Memorials can be made to the Sunshine House C/O Chamness Care Inc. He will be missed by his family and staff at Sunshine House. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL Funeral service will be at Herrin City Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 11, 2013 with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Interment will be at Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin, IL
