Eunice Hensgen

Mrs. Eunice Ellen Hensgen, age 86, of Marion, IL, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in Marion, IL. She was born in Newburg Mo., to James Robert and Jesse (Moore) Sheldon April 15, 1926. She is survived by 3 children: Patricia and Dale Wilson of Marion, James and Carla Hensgen of Carterville, Stephen and Michelle Hensgen of Mulkeytown ill. She has 1 brother Robert and wife Janet Sheldon of O Fallon Ill. Mrs. Hensgen is also survived by 10 grand children; Valerie and Eddie Long of Marion, Andrew Wilson of Carbondale, Jason and Michelle Hensgen of Carterville, Hayley and Jason Orendoff of Carterville, Deann and David Overturf of Carterville, Corey Richardson of Carterville, Amber and Adam Koloroutis of Kileen Tx, Ashley and Scotty Turner of West Frankfort, Chelsea Hensgen of Minneapolis Mn and Kody Killgrove of Mulkeytown. There are also 13 great grand children; Brandon and Alyssa Long of Marion, Merrick and Everleigh Orendoff of Carterville, Hayden and Layla Hensgen, David and Deanna Overturf also of Carterville, Tyler Craft, Jordan and Jadelynn Turner all of West Frankfort, Nolen and Brynlee Koloroutis both of Kileen Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilbur J. "Bill" Hensgen, 1 grand son Eric James Hensgen and 1 brother James Sheldon. She loved to spend time with her grand children and love to shop and go to yard sales. She was also a seamstress. Her wishes were to be cremated and buried next to her husband in San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin. There will be a visitation from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois Inc, envelopes will be provided by the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL
