Mrs. Helen Nesler, age 95, of Herrin, IL, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Herrin Rehab Center in Herrin, IL. She was born in Johnston City Illinois to Louis and Ethel Marks Williams September 17 1916. She is survived by five generations which include; 1 son Ron and wife Jeannie Nesler of Herrin, 3 grand children; Jeannine and husband Toby Coffee of Herrin, John Nesler and Melissa of Herrin and James and wife Kim Nesler of Herrin, 7 great grand children; Jessica and husband Bart Gwaltney of Herrin, Mindy Brandon of Herrin, Toby Coffey of Herrin, Bronson and Breanna Nesler of Herrin Jake and Hannah Nesler of Herrin and a new baby girl to be born in January. Also surviving are 4 great great grand children Cameron and J. J. Gwaltney and Josie and Brooklynn Brandon and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Nesler was married to John "Sollie" Nesler he died September 20, 1999. Also she was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Ivan, Harold and Harlie Williams and sisters Nola Stefan and Trecile Harnagel. Mrs. Nesler was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Herrin and she worked in the famous family business Polar Whip in Energy Ill. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois Inc envelops will be provide by the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2012. Funeral service will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2012, Rev. Don Colson officiating. Interment will be at Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin, IL
