Bobby Tick Smith

Bobby "Tick" Smith 81, died Thursday July 26, 2012 in Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Marion. Bobby was born Jan 28, 1931 to Bert and Annbelle Smith. He was a brick layer. He also enjoyed fishing and watcing Cubs baseball. He is survived by his son, Bruce and wife, Debbie, and daughter Dana Sheppard, grandson Brynnen Smith, two granddaughter, Brooks Sprowls and McKenzie Smith, four great-grandsons, Rance, Landen, Zathen and Deegan, and sisters Pauline Spiller Irene Wick-ham and Delores Ogden. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kelly Smith, one sister and three brothers. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 at Van Natta funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Brandon officiaing. Interment will be in Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10a.m. to 11a.m. Tuesday July 31 at the funeral home at 427 S. Park in Herrin Illinois.
