Steven G. Ward

Mr. Steven G. Ward, age 67, of Herrin, IL, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 4:30 pm in Herrin, IL. Mr. Ward was born in Canton Illinois to Gale and Cynthia Simmons Ward April 2, 1945. He is survived by his brother Rick and wife Jennifer Ward of Johnston City Ill, 2 sons Cody and Cooper Ward both of Herrin. He also has several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews surviving. Steven work at Red Top Liquor Store until he got sick. We thank god he kept his sense of humor. Steven loved horses all his life. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister Jan Stone. Memorials can be made to the 1st Christian Church 107 South Cherry in West Frankfort Ill. A memorial Service will be at 10:00am Saturday at the 1st Christian Church in West Frank Fort with Rev. Jason Ishmael officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL
