Charley Kazee

Mr. Charley Kazee, age 79 , died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at12:06 pm in the Heartland Regional Hospital. Mr. Kazee was born June 19, 1932 in Isonville Kentucky to Watt and Minnie (Hay) Kazee. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Elders) Kazee of Herrin, 3 daughters; Marilyn Kazee, Lois and husband Frank Roberts and Vicki Kazee, 1 son; Charles and wife Editha Kazee, 14 grand children, 19 great grand children. Also surviving is 2 brothers Willy and wife Gwen Kazee and Carl Kazee, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Kazee was in the Air force for 22 years and also retired from Maytag. He was preceded in death by his parents 1 brother and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00pm at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin. Burial will be at the Egyptian Memorial Gardens with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm also at the funeral home. Military Rites will be preformed by the American Legion Post and the V.F.W. post both of Herrin. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL
