Thomas Land

Mr. Thomas Land, 39 of Benton, Illinois died on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Franklin County Hospital in Benton, Illinois. He was born Wednesday, December 27, 1972 in Herrin, Illinois. He is survived by his mother and her friend Jane (English) Wilcox and Debbie Carper both of Marion Ill., fiancéeée Jennifer Buchanan of Benton Ill., and three children Austin, Dustin and Nicholas all of Benton Ill. Also survived by 3 sisters Lynda and James Braden of Bluford Ill., Margie and husband Jack Frost of West Frankfort Ill. and Rebecca and husband Eurick Abron of Dallas Texas. There are also 7 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. Mr. Land was preceded in death by his grandparents Olga and James English and Margaret Land. Thomas love to play darts and competed in several tournaments and was employed at Menova in Marion . Funeral services will be at 7:00pm on Sunday Jan 1, 2012 with Rev. Mark Miner officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm also on Sunday at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin Ill. Per his wishes he will be cremated after the service.
