Mr. Ronald Wilson, age 66, of Valier, IL, died Monday, November 28, 2011, at home surrounded by his family in Valier, IL. He was born in Mt. Vernon May 17, 1945 to Elisha and Viola Gnevo Wilson. Memorial Service will be Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Bear Point Church in Sesser Ill with Rev. Larry Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. He is survived by his wife; Mary Lorraine (Burroughs) Wilson of Valier. They were married August 4, 1963 in Waltonville. Also surviving is 2 sons ; Jerry and wife Chantyl Wilson of Springhill Tenn.. and Joey and his wife Julie Wilson of Nolensville Tenn.., 5 grandchildren; Morgan and Chandler Wilson of Springhill Tenn., and Karlee, Kassidy and Klaire of Nolensville Tenn.. and 5 brothers and 4 sisters; Bill and wife Dixie Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Charles and wife Marie Wilson of Mt Vernon, Frank and wife Phyllis of Belle Rive, Danny and wife Linda Wilson of Mt. Olive and Elisha Jr. and wife Dianne Wilson of Opdyke Ill., Rosalee Faulkner of Mt Vernon, Mary Jane and husband George of Mt. Vernon, Kathy and husband Jimmy Boone of Texico and Nancy and husband Jeff Hackett of Normal Ill. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Deloris Fairchild and 1 daughter Ronda Wilson. Mr. Wilson worked as a coal mine at Orient #3 and Ker McGee and he was a member of the labors union #773 of Marion and the Baptist Church in Whittington. He loved to fish and hunt. He will be remember for his garden. He also did Woodcrafts and carpentry work for Home Creations of Valier. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, Highway 148 between Christopher and Sesser, Mulkeytown, IL.
