Eunice Samples

Mrs. Eunice Samples, age 81, of Zeigler, IL, heaven called another angel home on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Elkville Ill., June 10,1930 to James and Dossie (Waller) Morris. She was married to Earl Samples on May 16, 1969. She is survived by children Sherri and Scott Annable of Goreville, Vanessa C. Cravens and James Ward of Herrin, Tracy B. and Melody Minton of Ewing, Bruce Minton of Wisconsin, LeAnn and James Farmer of Johnston City. Also she is survived by 9 grandchildren; Jonathon Minton of Chicago, Jennifer Brown of Vienna, Lawrence Garrett Jarvis, Jonathon Jarvis all of Goreville, Jacob Minton and Joshua Minton of Royalton, Baleigh and Hunter Cravens of Herrin and 7 great grand children Brock Brown, Chase Jarvis, Kaleigh Minton, Stormy Minton, Bella Minton, Josh Minton Jr. and Autumn Minton. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son Robin L. Minton and parents. Eunice loved life, family, friends and her grandchildren, she will be greatly missed. Graveside service will be Tuesday at the Miners Cemetery in Royalton at 11:00 am with the Rev. Don Wright officiating. Visitation will be Monday Nov. 21, 2011 at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Friends and family are to meet at the cemetery on Tuesday for the graveside service.
