Kenneth D. Dorsey

Mr. Kenneth Dorsey, age 45, of Sesser, IL, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 8:40am at his home in Sesser. Mr. Dorsey was born July 26 to Larry Dorsey and Willa (Murry) Dorsey. He worked at O'reilly auto parts as a manager. He is Survived by his wife Tammy (Pierce) Dorsey;six children Tishann Dorsey of Murphysboro, Amy Dorsey of Sesser and Katherine Dorsey of Sesser;Sandra Merseal DuQuoin ;Sarah Hungate Sesser and Preston Hungate Sesser; two sisters, Rebecca and husband Thomas Bryant of Sesser and Debroah and husband Robert Edwards of Sesser; two grandchildren Skylar Woody of Sesser and Gavin Gilliams of Mt Vernon;Grandfather William Murry Sesser; several Nices and nephews and aunts and uncles. Mr. Dorsey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar and Margaret Dorsey ; Martha Murry and Veronica Dorsey. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, July 29, In Van Natta Funeral Home, with Rev. Bryan Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 4p.m. Friday July 29 at the funeral home on Illinois 148 between Christopher and Sesser.Memorials may be made to Katherine Dorsey scholarship fund C/O Regions Bank at Sesser envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
