Charles James

Mr. Charles R. James, age 73, of Herrin, IL, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at his home in Herrin, IL. Charles was born in Jeffersonville IN, June 10, 1937 to Buster and Louise (Jackson) James. He is survived by 2 children, Cindy James of Herrin and Charles James Jr. of Carbondale Il., one brother Bill James of Sellersburg IN. and 3 grand children and 3 great grand children. Mr. James was a Veteran of the Marines Corp and owner of C & J Auto in Carterville and Shawnee Auto Sales in Herrin. He was married to Joan James of Carbondale, then married Julie James of Blairsville they survive also Memorial service will be Tuesday at 8:00 pm at Van Natta Funeral Home Rev. Don Colson will be the minister and visitation will be also Tuesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Mr. James wishes were to be cremated.
